Due to continued growth within a secure operations function, they are looking for an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to help build, lead and mature a newly formed team.

THE IT SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER ROLE:

As IT Service Delivery Manager, you will build and lead a secure IT service delivery team, ensuring high-quality support across a controlled and sensitive operational environment. You will be responsible for building and developing the team, improving IT service delivery processes, defining service standards, managing incident, request, change and escalation processes, and supporting the transition of new services into live operation.

You will work closely with IT, security, technical and business stakeholders, acting as a bridge between service delivery, operational requirements and secure working practices. This role will also involve vendor management, KPI reporting, continual service improvement and supporting the development of secure internal working environments.

IT SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in an IT Service Delivery Manager or similar role
  • Experience managing, building or developing IT teams
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned service delivery processes
  • ITIL Foundation qualification
  • Strong stakeholder management across business, technical and security teams
  • Experience with incident, request, change, escalation and service transition processes
  • Vendor management experience
  • Awareness of compliance or regulatory frameworks
  • Eligibility and willingness to undergo high-level UK government security clearance
  • Willingness to work predominantly onsite in Bristol
