ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is a market-leading consultancy delivering cutting-edge services across the Aerospace, Defence, and Security sectors. With a proven track record in aviation certification, airworthiness, and safety, they support national infrastructure and defence programmes across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Certification Consultant to work on high-profile military aviation and certification projects.

THE SENIOR AIR SAFETY CONSULTANT ROLE:

As a Certification Consultant, you’ll lead and contribute to air system certification projects across Aerospace and Defence. You’ll assess design compliance against regulatory frameworks, deliver key safety and certification artefacts, and work with clients to solve complex engineering challenges. You’ll also help shape strategic direction, support business development, and contribute to thought leadership in certification management.

SENIOR SAFETY CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Experience delivering aviation or defence certification and airworthiness solutions
  • Understanding of ASPIRE and AET Process 08
  • Knowledge of MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP) and the Military Air System Certification Process (MACP)
  • Familiarity with airworthiness codes like Def Stan 00-970, CS, or FARs
  • Strong report writing and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing Safety Assessments, Certification Plans or Airworthiness Strategies
  • Confidence managing technical assurance and client relationships
